Thompson Firearm Fundamentals was built on family, service, and a deep love for community. Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Justin and Samantha Thompson, the story begins in Buckeye, Arizona.

High school sweethearts and proud 1997 graduates of Buckeye Union High School, Justin and Samantha were born and raised in Buckeye. They know the heart of this town because it helped shape who they are today. Their commitment to both their community and their country inspired them to create Thompson Firearm Fundamentals, a place where responsible firearm education, safety, and skill development come first.

Justin is a former Army Ranger with a lifelong passion for firearms and training. His experience, discipline, and dedication to excellence drive his mission to educate new shooters while helping returning firearm owners continue to grow and refine their skills. He believes confidence is built through proper fundamentals, consistent training, and a strong safety mindset.

Samantha brings more than 25 years of experience as an educator. She supports Justin’s courses with her background in teaching and her commitment to safety while also providing essential “behind-the-scenes” support. She believes education is empowering, especially when it comes to responsible firearm ownership and understanding.

At Thompson Firearm Fundamentals, the belief is simple: Everyone can LEARN, TRAIN, and GROW! Providing a safe, practical, and fundamentals-based firearm training. Whether they are brand new to firearms, returning to continue their education, or looking to sharpen their current skill set.
